Mommy Daughter day

My angel and me love polish! She is 2 years old and will tell me it's time to polish her toes. In Ms. Lauren the ladybug voice "polish toes"... I love it when she says it. She doesn't pick her colors yet but  Ms. Lady knows she like them piggies polished. I have to snap a picture of her when she just gets them done. She walks on her heels until I tell her they are dry.

NAIL 101

I love nail polish....I want to change my polish everyday or every other day. I don't it would be too time consuming but any who...I love to google nail polish, nail care etc....

Picture time!!!

My fiberglass wrap with matching pedicure....I want to stay simple, classic white tips but I couldn't leave out my polka dots....I love polka dots....soooo much ( in my child at heart voice). I really like bio-set resin activity....set the resin super fast, don't have to worry about the resin running off my nail. Yes! I have my Orly Glosser again....so excited. I love this top coat, super glossy.

Fiberglass wrap/Pedicure turn out

Well I had a hack of a time with my fiberglass wrap. I don't know what or who told me to put resin on my nails pre wrap lay....don't do....horrible turn out. It was a mess, had to soak wrap off and redo it. Lay the wrap first then resin (two coats). My nails are terribly weak, paper thin.
Pedicure turned out baby butt soft....I love pedicures. I wanted to stay classic...French white tips on the toes and white tips on nails. My camera is charging, pictures later. I did do one design on my ring finger....black and white. My mother always gets tons of compliments on her nails so I'm trying black and white this time.
I use a French tip brush to make my tips...note to self or anyone else DO NOT USE acetone to clean the tip when you have fiberglass wraps...it exposures the wrap something terrible....I had to re do my French tips on one hand.
My nails feel a lot stronger with the fiberglass wrap....I really like them. My daughter wants her toes polished I think is time for twin power "French tips" Yay!

Pedicure Fiberglass nail wrap day

Today I woke up a little springy....
I wanted to clean my mess of a room and pamper myself today... why not? I deserve it! Did a rush polish on my toes last night. I brought my ticket to go out and everything...got in the mirror didn't like a thing...didn't go. Oh well... I will explore the night life a little when I'm back to my weight, gained some pounds after my angel and haven't shook off. I'm exercising and changing my eating habits...10lbs down..yay! a lot more to go...
So I looked at my hands and feet and light bulb. I need a nice relaxing pedicure and good book and a fiberglass wrap on my pour weak nails.
I'm researching info now to help strengthen my nails....love great ideas please post

This is my Candy Nails blog. I would blog mostly about natural nails, nail care, and my favorite nail art. I have been playing around with nails for around 20 years off and on. I really am enjoying nails again with all the new stuff going on. I will post interesting things I find about nails also. I must admit some things on this blog may not be about nails. Sometimes I have to express what is on my mind and I feel why not in a blog.
